The incredible and inspirational real life story of a Thalidomide survivor in New Brunswick, Canada.

In the late 50’s and early 60’s, a drug called Thalidomide was marketed as a sedative and to treat morning sickness in pregnant women. The use of this drug by pregnant women in 46 countries, that include the UK, the US, Germany, Australia, and Canada, led to children being born with severe life-threatening deformities, such as phocomelia and missing limbs. More than 10,000 children were born with such deformities.

This inspiring documentary is about the life of one of those children, Noëlla Hébert.
It is a powerful testimonial of courage and determination, in which Noëlla recounts her incredible journey through pain, struggle, and triumph; from (in her words) victim to creator.
